Join Barney's Bunch our group for 2-5 year olds with a farm animals theme.
All sessions run 1.30-2.30. £2 per child/£1.50 members (admission charge does not apply). Come along and explore the museum through different themes each month with stories, games and crafts. Please call or email firstname.lastname@example.org to book a place.
Tiverton & Heathcoat Photographic Club exhibition

Tiverton & Heathcoat Photographic Club’s annual print & digital image exhibition will be at the museum from 30th April to 3rd June 2016. Free entry.

Linking with the photographic exhibition, photographic artist Rosie Stott leads a children’s workshop exploring making cyanotype prints. These will use found objects, objects from the museum’s handling collection and craft supplies to create stunning prints on photosensitive paper. Interested adults also welcome to have a go!
Free with admission, donations welcome. Suitable for children aged 5+. Drop in 11:00-3:30.
Coach trip to Weald & Downland Museum

The Weald & Downland Open Air Museum of Historic Buildings and Fishbourne Roman Palace & Gardens.
At the Open Air Museum you will see farmhouses, barns, waterwheel, church and workers shops. Fishbourne Roman Palace & Gardens, houses the greatest collection of Roman mosaics as they were laid 2,000 years ago, with the gardens planted as they would have been during the Roman occupancy.

Something a little bit Different’ - a varied programme of music. If the weather is fine then it may be held outside in the grounds, and you would be most welcome to bring your own picnic. Tickets only £5.
Tivvy Textiles family day

Linking in with the Heathcoat 200 anniversary, disover how textiles have been made in Tiverton through the ages. From iron Age spinning through the Tudor days of the wool trade, to the arrival of Heathcoat’s lace machines and through to the modern day. Lots of hands-on activities, crafts and object handling.
Museum admission applies, and charges apply for some activities.
