Monday to Friday 10.30am - 4.30pm                 Saturday 10am - 3pm.

Unless otherwise stated, admission charges for the exhibitions only are: Adults £1.00

Bumper Half Term

17 February 2018

Bumper Half Term at Tiverton Museum!
We will be celebrating the Tivvy Bumper and other transport fun woth a Bumper Trail, making engines from giant building blocks, mystery objects, colouring in and much more for all the family. 

Running throughout half term, Saturday 10th - Saturday 17th February. Normal museum admission applies. 

Plus special craft activities on Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th February, booking recommended.

 


Devon and the Transatlantic Slave Trade

22 February 2018

A speaker from the Devon Development Education at the Global Centre in Exeter will be talk about Devon’s slave ownership and its legacies.

£5 per ticket available from Tiverton Museum. The talk will take place at Tiverton Town Hall.

Mid Devon and the Transatlantic Slave Trade

22 March 2018

Local historian Mike Sampson will speak about the links between Tiverton and the Mid Devon District and the Transatlantic slave trade.

£5 per ticket available from Tiverton Museum. The talk will take place at Tiverton Town Hall.

Mid Devon's Legacies of Slave Ownership

24 March 2018

A temporary exhibition examining the local legacies of slave ownership within Devon. The exhibition runs from Monday 5th February until Saturday 24th March 2018. entry to the exhibition is £1 for adults, or free as part of the normal museum admission ticket.
