Bookings should be made at least seven days before the proposed visiting date and can be made by e-mail or telephone 01884 256295.
Assistance by staff/volunteers is free for the first half hour, and then research fees apply.

Research for researchers who are not able to visit the museum will incur a charge. Please contact the Research Library to discuss your query. We ask for an initial payment (same as our admission fee), we will then undertake the research. (Please allow 14 days after the payment for a reply). Enquiries that take longer than half an hour will be charged at £10 per hour. Payment can be made via BACS or PayPal (please notify the research team when payment has been made). Once payment is received we will send you the results of the research via email.
