Tiverton Museum of Mid Devon Life is delighted to have installed two small displays around Mid Devon. There is a pop up display featuring old photographs of Cullompton currently in the Hayridge Centre and which will be there over the summer holidays. There is also a permanent display in Tiverton’s Pannier Market including a display case and old photographs. The first market display looks at the history of the market itself, but the theme of the display will be changed over time.

Pippa Griffith, Director of Tiverton Museum, says ‘We are grateful for funding from the Communities Together Fund which has enabled us to create these displays. We want to have more of a presence outside of the museum itself (in response to feedback we receive from members of the local community), and this builds upon the permanent display we currently have in the Exe Valley Leisure Centre. We will be looking for venues in other parts of the district to install a pop up display in the autumn to provide local communities with access to their heritage.’
