Tiverton Museum is celebrating as the museum’s CCTV system has been upgraded thanks to grants from Devon County Council’s Invest in Devon fund, Cllr Colthorpe’s Locality Budget and the Norman Family Charitable Trust.

The museum has worked closely with local firm, Five Star Security who have installed the new equipment. This project makes immediate improvements to the security of the building, collections, visitors, volunteers and staff.

Pippa Griffith, Museum Director, says ‘This has been a top priority for the museum so that our integrated security approach was fully functioning. Graham and his team at Five Star Security have been incredibly helpful and efficient in delivering the work needed for this project. As a registered charity operating on very limited funds, we struggle to find the fund to maintain our Grade II listed building. Financial support such as this enables us to secure the future of the museum as a popular community resource and repository of local heritage.’
