Are you looking for a new, fulfilling challenge? Would you like to bring your skills and experience to make a real difference to the future success of an important local museum?

Tiverton Museum of Mid Devon Life is an award-winning independent museum with an impressive collection and a strong reputation for its learning programme. It holds one the largest collections in the West Country, including important rural life objects such as rare wagons and the iconic local steam locomotive ‘Tivvy Bumper. The Museum is housed in a Grade 11 listed National School building with later extensions.

With the retirement in 2021 of its long-standing Chair, the museum is seeking a new Chair and Trustees with the vision and skills to take the museum into a new phase of development which will see it thrive into the future.

For an informal conversation about the roles, please contact the outgoing Chair Andrea Rowe email: roweandrea@icloud.com or telephone 01884 258820.
