It will enable any short term improvements to be made through operational changes, and will enable for us to plan for zero carbon master planning as part of our future building plans. Tiverton Museum of Mid Devon Life has received a National Lottery Heritage Fund grant of £248,276 for an exciting heritage project, ‘strengthening our foundations; building our future’. Made possible by money raised by National Lottery players, the project aims to develop the volunteer team to represent a more diverse volunteer base and undertake essential work towards developing an environmentally sustainable building, reducing running costs and preparing for future development of the museum. The building energy audit forms part of this project.
