Tiverton Museum of Mid Devon Life is delighted to have received funding to review and develop its popular schools programme, helping to ensure it continues to meet the changing needs of schools and pupils.

The project will review the museum’s existing offer for primary schools in light of the evolving curriculum, while exploring opportunities to develop a new programme for secondary school pupils. A key focus will be inclusive support for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), helping the museum explore how it can make its learning experiences as accessible and engaging as possible.

The museum is now advertising for a learning consultant to undertake this work and help shape the future of its education offer. You can see the full tender here.

The project has been supported through the Museum Learning and Engagement Grant, funded by Arts Council England and the UK Government.
